Inventory Control Supervisor Crayola Experience Orlando GENERAL SUMMARY:  The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for the establishment of annual inventory metrics and maintaining optimal inventory levels, including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role is also responsible for establishing and tracking critical supply chain metrics and identifying and addressing any issues/opportunities PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  • Achieve monthly and seasonal productivity goals • Develop inventory management tools/reporting to assess inventory position across all items carried, develop recommendations of inventory target levels for approval by Merchandise Buyer • Conduct on-going analysis of sales rates, inventory levels and re-order lead times to identify any potential issues with insufficient or excess inventory. • Place orders as required to ensure on-going supply of products • In collaboration with the Merchandise Buyer, develop excess inventory action plans  • Develop and implement annual supply chain metrics and track performance on an on-going basis • Track supply chain levels and worth with Supply Chain at corporate to resolve any issues and address opportunities for improvement.  • Lead/conduct cycle counting process, ensure accurate inventory level tracking.  • Ensure effective tracking of inventory loss – theft, damaged good handling and recording, etc • Verify and reconcile incoming/outgoing shipments and billing inconsistencies • Responsible for the management of inventory control team

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • Associate’s degree required preferably with a concentration in business, supply chain or operations. Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 5+ years inventory control experience. • Prior retail experience preferred. • Must be flexible and available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Strong analytical and communication skills required  • Results oriented, ability to work independently We offer competitive salary, outstanding benefits and the potential for advancement through the use of creative abilities.
