About Us: Launch That, LLC is a young, privately held company based in downtown Orlando, Florida. Not long ago, we were 10 people with a dream and desire. Now we’re a 11-year-old Internet marketing firm with a quest to seek out new business opportunities that match our strengths. We are a group of digital strategists and creative types with a grasp of web trends and audiences. We leverage all of these strategies to produce and market strong brands that perform well in all sorts of digital/internet channels. Although we’re rather laid-back, we value efficient people, hard work and a diverse work environment.

MAJOR PURPOSE

The Content Creator creates a variety of articles and other content for our Internet properties and also for outside websites with whom we market. The position is mostly creative within the structure of our websites, primarily writing evergreen web pages, blog posts, news articles and social media posts. It is not a management position.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To write evergreen pages, blog posts and news articles for Drugwatch.com
• To research medical topics such as Big Pharma, dangerous drugs and medical devices through advanced Google searches and Lexis-Nexis and other medical databases
• To learn the intricacies of inbound digital marketing as it relates to our business
• To promote our content across a variety of social media platforms
• To solicit and write guest posts for related outside blogs and websites
• To ghostwrite content for outside blogs and websites
• To provide regular content ideas for yourself and others, including ideas for infographics and for content in other mediums
• ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ability to work a defined schedule, Monday through Friday, in an office setting
• Fact-check and line-edit copy with accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate and work collaboratively
• Self-manage, drive initiatives and execute tasks to completion
• Talent for prioritizing
• Desire to hold high standards for self and for others on the team

• REQUIREMENTS
• Four-year degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a professional writing environment
• Demonstrated ability (writing samples needed) to write and edit in short form and long form
• A understanding of Internet search and an ability to learn more about it
• An ability to work in a CMS such as WordPress
• An ability sit at a computer for an eight-hour shift
• Willingness to take direction but also to find creative ways to improve on that direction – initiative
• Time-management skills
• Proven ability to work in MS Word, Google docs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A desire to be epic
• BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional journalism experience
• Significant editing experience
• Owning a personal website or blog
• Having a positive social media footprint
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of PhotoShop
• Someone who likes to work hard and play hard
