Job Description: 
University Behavioral Center is seeking a Business Development/Community Relations Specialist to join our team.

• The representative will join efforts to achieve census objectives, develop strategies, and form sustainable relationships within the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Community.
• This position will develop and maintain key referral relationships around the state of Florida and serve as provider relations with new and existing accounts.
• Position is responsible for the development and performance of all marking and sales activities to ensure the hospital's admission and revenue goals are achieved.
• Establishes plan and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and education programs for existing and potential referral sources.
• Key objectives are to inform, educate and communicate programs and services to hospitals, managed care companies, businesses, industry, EAP program directors, substance abuse professionals and other mental health professionals within the state of Florida.
• Extensive travel involved. Candidates must be able to meet overnight traveling requirements.

Job Requirement: 

• Qualified candidates must have three - five years’ experience in Mental Health, Substance Abuse Programs, Marketing or Health related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Health related field preferred. Extensive travel by personal car up to 90% required.
