Accounting Clerk

A design and manufacturing company in Oviedo is seeking an Entry Level Accounting Clerk.

 

Primary responsibilities

• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support Controller.

• Research, track, and resolve accounting problems.

• Process bills for payment.

• Expense Reports data entry.

• Process Credit Card charges.

• Issue checks for accounts payable.

• Compile and sort invoices and checks.

• Record payments and issue Credit Memos if necessary.

• Issue Accounts Receivable report.

• Contact customers with past due accounts.

• Banks reconciliation monthly.

• Credit Cards reconciliation monthly.

• Provide front desk customer service during Administrative Clerk absents.

• Issue Purchase Order as a backup.

• Utilize QuickBooks to produce miscellanies reports as needed.

 

Job Requirements

• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. Advanced experience with MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software.

• Superior organizational skills are necessary

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Experience as accounting clerk is strongly beneficial

• Experience with shipping and receiving is a strong plus

• Attitude, aptitude and ability to quickly grasp the essentials of the position are the most important quality we are looking for

 

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM

Salary: $12.00
