International Enrollment Guide

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance in completing required enrollment documents and adhere to document completion deadlines
• Review documents to maintain compliance with the Department of Homeland Security and the university’s accrediting commission
• Evaluate educational documents required for entrance for both undergraduate and graduate-level applicants
• Determine equivalency of secondary education credentials received outside of the U.S. for both foreign and domestic students
• Evaluate language proficiency of new students that are non-native English speakers to determine admission acceptance
• Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, deadline-oriented and dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Work night and weekend shifts as needed to accommodate global time zones
Other Responsibilities:

• Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information

• Performs other duties as assigned
Competencies:
• Fluency in second language
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Creative and innovative writing ability, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
Computer/Equipment Skills:
• Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
