Compass research is currently seeking a Psychometric Rater for its Neurological studies department at its headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The Rater administrates and interprets quantitative tests for the measurement of psychological variables i.e. Alzheimer’s disease, MCI, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s Disease.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Adhere to the study protocols, SOPs, and company policies/procedures
• Schedule appointment and interview patients to ensure they meet inclusion criteria for the study • Administer and assess quantitative tests to confirm diagnosis for clinical trials
• Observe patient’s symptoms via psychiatric rating scale system
• Evaluate the subject to ensure patient is not suicidal through assessments
• Measure the severity of patient’s symptoms
• Continuously observe and use same assessments throughout study
• Maintain strong working relationship with Sponsors and external companies for training purposes
• Act as Site Liaison and communicate/handle any data issues that may arise
• Ensure all other Raters are in compliance with trainings/certifications to administer assessments required by Sponsors
• Assist the Psychiatrist with diagnosing patients for psychiatric studies and evaluate patients for suicidal ideation/intent
• Facilitate all testing schedule and related issues in a timely manner
• Review/compare rating scores across studies and individual patients for efficacy, consistency, and rater drift
• Order supplies on as needed basis
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

• Minimum of BS and/or BA in Psychology required; Psychometric and/or Rater Qualification Certificate and Master’s Degree strongly preferred;
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical research and/or assessment experience required
