Logistics Coordinator - Entry Level

Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the rigging and shipping of 50-100 equipment loads a month. The coordinator will be responsible for end-to-end logistics management and close collaboration with 3rd party logistics providers to ensure products are delivered seamlessly to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule rigging companies to prepare loads for transit
• Bid out and book FTL and LTL truck shipments
• Coordinate and track the status of 50 - 100 shipments a month
• Track shipment payments and costs
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers, truckers and truck brokers
• Verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics position
• Experience bidding and booking FTLs and LTLs
• Experience using UPS and FedEx Ground/Freight to book shipments.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
• Working knowledge of inventory management
• Ability to work independently and to work well under pressure
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience shipping freight to Canada and Mexico is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred
