To direct the operations of a small to medium sized, remote Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans.

Essential Functions:

Oversees all functional areas of branch location. Responsible for monitoring and overseeing daily operations. Manages branch team, including staffing, hiring, scheduling, evaluations, training and guiding team members in career growth. Develops plans and schedules for efficient utilization of team members, resulting in outstanding service delivery.

Effectively utilizes cross-selling strategies to offer credit union products and services to members. Responsible for Community Development around branch area to achieve credit union goals and objectives.

Utilizes management skills to foster a coaching environment within the branch to ensure overall service, lending, membership, and services per household expectations are met.

Serves as a loan officer and/or interviewer to provide loan services to members. Processes loan applications and disburses loan proceeds to members. Opens accounts for new members and offers products and services to both new and existing members.

Utilizes and trains team members in cross-selling strategies and relationship building strategies to offer credit union products and services to new and existing members.

Effectively utilizes decision making abilities to ensure safety and soundness of the credit union, its members and the adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Attain branch goals in savings, lending, account relationships, transactions, profitability and cross sell ratios.

Skills Requirements:

Two years to five years of similar or related experience.

Some college required; years of experience could substitute for education. College degree preferred.

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.

Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
