Maintenance Technician

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
2. Trouble shoot and carry out repairs on all equipment and rides.
3. Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.
4. General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to:  electric, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass, welding.
5. Account for tools and their maintenance.
6. Work with hand and power tools.
7. Basic welding skills desired but not necessary.
8. To work safely and abide by all company Safety Rules and Regulations.
9.  Willing to perform and complete any and all work related to park maintenance.

 Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years of practical experience.

 Education:

1. High school degree desired but not required.
2. Basic reading and writing skills.

 Comments: 

1. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.
2. Work with hazardous chemicals and understand the importance of safety.
3. Work in conditions that are hot, noisy and confining (possibly underwater).
4. Lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
5. Climb stairs and towers.  Stand for long periods of time.
6. Must be 18 years old or older.
7. May be required to wear a half-face respirator.
