MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES       

  • Maintain, install, service and repair all utility electrical systems park wide including but not limited to all site lighting, lighting contactors and signage.
  • Maintain, install, service and repair all park wide life safety electrical systems and equipment including but not limited to all UPS, generators, transfer switches and egress lighting.
  • Maintain, install, service and repair all main switchgear, main breakers, sub panels and branch circuits.
  • Maintain, install, service and repair all utility and facilities motors including but not limited to motor control centers.
  • Infrared testing of breakers, switch gear and related equipment and associated electrical equipment.
  • Provide quality inspections of emergency back-up equipment including but not limited to UPS systems, generators and all emergency back-up equipment of work provided by vendors and contractors.
  • Assist coordinator with  permitted projects including but not limited to initial job scopes and load calculations.
  • Assist Creative and Planned Work with projects including but not limited to initial electrical plans, follow up inspections of completed work and underground electrical locations for projects as required.
  • Maintain, service, switching and repair of high voltage switchgear, transformers and branch circuits up to 480V.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPETo install, maintain, service, rebuild, troubleshoot, repair, and operate all Industrial, Commercial, and noncommercial electrical equipment and utilities as it pertains to the continuous smooth operation of Wet n Wild Orlando Facilities and attractions  Including: electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment from 12V to 480V.  This will include all main switch gear, main breakers, UPS units, generators, transfer switches, motors, motor control centers, high voltage transformers, and all high voltage branch circuits.

EDUCATION:  High school degree or GED is required and a Technical school course in a related topic is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  Valid Florida Drivers License/ required to operate company vehicles.

Must posses a Master Electrical License or Journeyman Electrical License.

EXPERIENCE5-7 Years:  Required experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility or a fast paced service company dedicated to electrical repair.  3-5 Years:  Preferred experience in theme park industry.
