SUMMARY:
 
The Beach Attendant provides controls, monitors and maintains the beach, pool and surrounding areas, setting up chairs, umbrellas and other outdoor furniture. The Attendant ensures only registered & invited guests are utilizing the facilities, and keeps these areas in clean and safe condition. The Attendant also ensures guest safety by communicating hazards and immediately contacting Security team members in the event of serious injury.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Control, monitor and maintain the beach, pool and surrounding areas. 
•    Set up chairs, umbrellas and other outdoor furniture. 
•    Ensure safe use of beach and pool equipment. 
•    Ensure only registered & invited guests are utilizing the beach and pool. 
•    Ensure beach, pool and access areas are in clean & safe condition. 
•    Warn guests of inclement weather and unsafe areas. 
•    Contact Security team members in case of serious injury to guests. 
•    Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards. 
•    Consistently practice the Meaning of Yes® and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects. 
•    Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine) as necessary. 
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
Required:
•    High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Preferred:
•    Six (6) months of customer service experience. 
•    Previous work experience as a Beach Attendant, Pool Attendant or Lifeguard. 
•    Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry.
