Drawings - Contracts - Coordinator

POSITION:    Drawings / Contracts Coordinator

DEPARTMENT:    Planning & Engineering

SALARY:            $20.34  $26.08 per hour
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree, preferably related to architecture, construction, engineering, or public administration, and five (5) years of related work experience with a construction or engineering firm or a public entity or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.  Must have understanding of construction specifications, and contracts terms.  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and organizations skills.  Must be able to multi-task while meeting critical deadlines, work independently and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills in Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, and MS Excel required; know2ledge in MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Project and cloud-based storage preferred.  Knowledge of Auto CAD software, and GIS Oasis systems preferred.  Must be proficient in the use of a large format copier, plotter, and microfilm reader/printer print room equipment.  Valid Florida driver license required.  

Responsible for the Authority’s electronic plans room, including archive of past project plans and specifications.  Monitors project document review and production from start of design through project close-out and audit.  Processes various construction-related professional service agreements, addenda and contracts and non-construction professional service agreements.  Monitors and maintains certificates of insurance, statements of agent or broker, and associated coverages in accordance with agreements.  Works closely with consultants, contractors, external agencies, and Aviation Authority staff.  Perform other duties as assigned.
