Application Support - Tier 1

Summary:
The Application Support – Tier 1 position is a part of the Solutions Management team supporting data analysis, problem resolution, solutions research, technical research, customer interactions, project coordination, and other duties necessary to advance information systems solutions here at Full Sail University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Resolve technical problems 
· Coordinate technical resolution with vendors
· Administer applications
· Consult with customers (users) to understand the nature of the issue/requirement
· Research technologies
· Apply software fixes
· Install and configure software
· Verify software installations, data integrity
· Author documentation
· Adhere to Full Sail University enterprise standards
· Advise on best practices
· Participate in the development solutions 
· Write database queries
· Manage roles, permissions, etc.

Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of two years related work experience required

· Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in a diverse technological environment

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active interdepartmental communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
