Purchasing/Procurement Specialist (Purchasing)

Benada Aluminum Products, LLC (Aluminum Extrusion Manufacturing) company in Sanford, FL is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist (Purchasing) to join our Accounting Department.

Position duties include, but not limited to:

• Procurement of raw materials for manufacturing and supplies/materials for a large internal maintenance shop

• Forecasting material needs using internal systems and departmental needs

• Working with production to understand material needs based on production scheduling

• Placing purchase orders and monitoring status to ensure delivery requirements are met

• Working with vendors to insure compliance with contracts

• Assisting in identifying cost-reducing initiatives

• Tracking maintenance inventory usage and assisting in improving reporting methods

• Using financial software packages, databases and intermediate spreadsheets

• Corresponding via phone/email with vendors/employees

Minimum requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products and Crystal Reports preferred

• Education is preferred, but minimum of five (5) years purchasing experience is required.Some accounting experience helpful.
