We are temporary staffing company and specialty construction company searching for a dynamic, high-energy person to assume the role as Purchasing Manager. They must be a self-starter and be able to drive projects to completion. Will report directly to the Sr. Project Manager.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Secure bids and purchase materials and services for the company’s staffing and construction operations.
  • Research and qualify new vendors taking into account the quality of our products, pricing, minimum order quantities, shipping, etc.
  • Assist in processing payroll including working with customers timesheets and related responsibilities.
  • Analyze basic job cost data using MS Excel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years recent and related work experience in the staffing and or construction industry.

 Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.  Ability to anticipate what needs to be done today to meet future deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and dead-line sensitive environment.
  • A high sense of urgency.
  • Must be a positive team player and have a desire to work in an empowering team environment.
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work on many tasks simultaneously and still get things done.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in your past positions.
  • Proven skills with the Microsoft Suite especially Excel and Outlook.
