Key Responsibilities for Telephone Sales Representative:

  • Prospecting for new customers; building and managing the inside sales development pipeline for a defined region
  • Using consultative selling methods; analyze each prospect and identify needs
  • Building a comprehensive map of the prospects’ potential business opportunities, profiling the decision-making process and interviewing decision makers
  • Working with qualified leads, demonstrating products, conducting value presentations and negotiating to the close
  • Demonstrating through web-based presentations and delivering highly customized solutions
  • Offering value proposition, creating urgency and closing the sale over the phone
  • Achieving and exceeding goals and quotas by closing new business transactions

Requirements:

  • 4 year College degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with a customer relationship management software application; Goldmine and Join.me
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
  • Competitive and driven with a strong work ethic and motivation to succeed
  • Ability to comprehend technology and develop sales strategies to increase business opportunity
  • The ability to "self-start" and work independently taking personal initiative
