Our company has a solid history of quality and strong customer service for 30 years. With our recent growth and expansion, we are looking to add an experienced Inside Sales Account Manager who can use their experience to build and maintain relationships, increase sales and market share, and provide high levels of customer service.

Job Responsibilities for Inside Sales Account Manager

  • Responsible for the sales growth within assigned region
  • Provides quality customer service to current customers and prospective clients
  • Plans unique sales strategies for each customer within region
  •  Sales Account Manager prepares proposals for prospective customers to gain client business
  • Qualify prospects for new products and complete full sales cycle
  • Uses sales media including mailings, calls, visits, proposals, and presentations to expand business
  • Builds a rapport with direct sales methods by phone, meetings, and conferences or through tradeshow sales.
  • Territory development which includes selling at least 8 hours per day making a minimum of 20 sales calls per day.
  • Develops action plans, analyzes data, and utilizes business development funds to increase business and market share.
  • Uses sales techniques to overcome customer objections and gain client business

Job Requirements for Inside Sales Account Manager

  • Work effort and dedication of 40-50 hours per week
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm
  • Flexibility to work Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm as needed
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of inside sales experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years phone based customer service experience
  • Must be able to travel overnight at minimum 2 trips per year
  • Experience with upselling a plus
  • Experience with business to business sales a plus
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Takes initiative, is self-motivated and self-reliant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively interfaces with a wide variety of people, with a truly professional approach
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
