The Program Manager will work as the key liaison between appropriate teams to ensure timely execution of all assigned projects. The Project Manager will implement best practice, project management processes and systems to help define project plans and timelines, track and report progress and changes and coordinate information flow between all stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communication
- Build strategic & collaborative relationships with internal staff and external vendors, if necessary
- Hold regular team meetings with various stakeholders to obtain information required
- Subject Matter Expert - SME's identified to work cross divisionally on projects
- Help train others in SAP, share best practices internally, etc.
- Regular communication with project stakeholders
- Communicate details of new projects
- Planning
- Track progress on assigned projects
- Obtaining necessary information to complete project Monitor reports to ascertain status of projects
- Coordinate schedules where appropriate between teams Institute additional meetings when appropriate to obtain information and solve potential problems and make good business decisions
- Execution Projects will include identifying, cataloging process improvement opportunities; prioritizing based on ROI and then launching official projects to realize improvement
- Continuous improvement
- Constantly debrief at PM meetings Improve processes within the PM responsibilities
- Investigate possible cost savings opportunities
- Financial Responsibilities
- Supply preliminary, revised and final ROI analyses
- Responsible for monitoring, controlling and communicating project expenses
- Create and maintain cost savings strategies Investigate possible cost savings opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent Project Management experience
- Excellent computer skills especially Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint; SAP preferred
- Experience working with various functional groups (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Editorial, and Supply Chain)
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes and practices
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and follow up on a continual basis 2-4 years' experience in a Project Management role
- Proficiency with SAP
Preferred:
Experience in project/program management in either Supply Chain or Operations (with Project Management Certifications) ABOUT US:
