A leading Central Florida Trade Association is seeking qualified candidates for its Member Services Director position. This individual will be responsible for managing membership recruitment and retention. (Note: Current membership budget is $680,000)

  • Requirements for this full-time employee position include:
  • Successful experience as a membership development professional and/or account executive.
  • Knowledge and success in composing and managing print communications (membership directory and annual report).
  • Proven experience working with volunteer committees (coordinating meetings, producing agendas, securing guest presentations).
  • Experience working with top tier executives and community leaders.
  • Strong presentation, communication and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft office/computer proficiency.
  • A bachelor's degree in related field.

 

Duties of this position include:

  • Membership recruitment.
  • Membership retention.
  • Composing and producing two annual publications:
    • Membership directory
    • Annual report
  • Coordinating and servicing as the staff liason of 8-10 association committees.
  • Producing an annual job fair.
  • Composing monthly articles for regional publications.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
