A leading Central Florida Trade Association is seeking qualified candidates for its Member Services Director position. This individual will be responsible for managing membership recruitment and retention. (Note: Current membership budget is $680,000)
- Requirements for this full-time employee position include:
- Successful experience as a membership development professional and/or account executive.
- Knowledge and success in composing and managing print communications (membership directory and annual report).
- Proven experience working with volunteer committees (coordinating meetings, producing agendas, securing guest presentations).
- Experience working with top tier executives and community leaders.
- Strong presentation, communication and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Microsoft office/computer proficiency.
- A bachelor's degree in related field.
Duties of this position include:
- Membership recruitment.
- Membership retention.
- Composing and producing two annual publications:
- Membership directory
- Annual report
- Coordinating and servicing as the staff liason of 8-10 association committees.
- Producing an annual job fair.
- Composing monthly articles for regional publications.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
