Controller

Paramount Hospitality Management (PHM), a dynamic, growth-oriented hotel management company is currently looking for a Controller.  PHM is a successful full-service management organization for hotels, resorts, condo-hotels, vacation ownership and a combination of mixed-use.

The Controller will manage and lead on-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting and analysis for the hotel. This responsibility also includes hotel financial planning, budgeting, records, accounting, cash management and all other accounting related issues

Responsible for overseeing day to day Accounting functions of the Resort, Food & Beverage outlet and HOA.

Oversee timely dissemination of financial management reporting for managed assets.

Ensure that Accts Receivable are invoiced and that AR is within 95% current

Reviews the Accts Payable process and approves payments to vendors/owners on weekly basis

Reviews Balance Sheets for all companies on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of entries.

Responsible for the managing the annual audits of all managed assets to ensure delivery within established guidelines

Works with Management and Property General Managers in the preparation of 90 Day Forecasts and Annual Budgets

Reviews all contracts for each property to ensure that they conform to company standards

Prepares payroll as required

Experienced in; 
month-end closing procedures 
inventory management and control 
bank reconciliations 
monthly tax accruals and tax filings 
Identify accounting and control issues

Requirements:

Great Plains/Hospitality software a plus 
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 4 years experience 
Strong computer and Excel skills 
Good communication skills 
Mix use experience a plus with community association experience.
