Part time Social Media manager (20 hours a week) for a brand new retail store in Lake Mary.  Working with a team that has been a mainstay in the Central Florida business community for over 25 years, this position will be a great fit for the person who is passionate about building a new retail brand from scratch with a very experienced retail group.

The successful candidate will be able to plan, design, implement and execute social media (Facebook, Email, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc.) plan with three goals in mind; branding, sales support and awesome customer relationships.  This position is strategic and requires working with all owners and vendors to create, implement and measure all social media campaigns and email campaigns.

The position will require some onsite work (Lake Mary) but also is very flexible for working from home. 

Job Description:

  • Managing social media accounts
  • Work with owners to establish goals and social media plans.
  • Create engaging, fun and relevant.  (writing skills essential)
  • Communicate effectively with users and customers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.  May add other accounts.
  • Build engagement using social media to help drive all traffic to main website.
  • Help build creative material for social media promotions and have the ability to measure the results.
  • Graphic Design (HTML, CSS) (helpful)
  • Help organize and develop/write/find blog material.
  • Work with owners to use photography of inventory to push out in social media campaigns.
  • Email group send programs.
  • Have a big interest in women’s jewelry and high end accessories.
  • Create school (college and high school) campaigns to promote trendy unique items this store will carry.
  • Overall brand awareness strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Social Media Marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Style and design background.
  • Organization and planning
  • Examples of social media projects you have worked on and their measured success or failure.

This is a part-time position.  We are looking for the person who can see our vision and brand and will be able to create and spread it using social media.  This job is not for the person who knows how to do a Facebook post. 

This job is for someone who can start at the beginning of a retail brand that will expand and grow if successful.  The person in this job will be instrumental in driving brand success.
