About the Role

The Food & Beverage Cluster Manager role will be responsible for food quality and service within a cluster of units and for managing the day-to-day operation of those units.   The Food & Beverage Cluster Manager will also ensure all targets regarding profit, revenues, safety, guest experience, turnover, and employee engagement are achieved; ensure the company standards and values are met and all policies and procedures are adhered to; and provide direction to the Food &Beverage service teams via the Food & Beverage Supervisors.

Key Objectives:

  1. Responsible for the effective achievement of all targets regarding profit, revenues, safety, guest experience, turnover, and employee engagement by consistently meeting the highest standards of service, food quality, safety, cleanliness, adherence to policies/procedures, etc. throughout all units within the Cluster.
  1. Develop and lead a professional, efficient, and effective team with an aligned focus on the guest experience, quality of food and service, and the development of future leaders within the Department. Act as a role model in leading this through the Merlin Way.
  1. Provide direction to the F&B service teams through Restaurant Supervisors and ensure effective departmental and interdepartmental communication throughout the Resort.       

About you

Requires proven experience in food and beverage operations in leading teams and managing day to day operational complexities.This position requires a demonstrated track record of success in achieving set targets and objectives within Food & Beverage units.Experience managing a team of direct reports with a proven track record of empowered management in engaging and developing teams is essential.Skilled in problem analysis, problem solving and decision making. Track record of working collaboratively with others to achieve desired results.Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.Strong guest service, interpersonal and leadership skills are required.Computer skills related to standard packages such as Microsoft Office are necessary.
