SUMMARY
Executes the accounts payable process and facilitates the processing of other insurance company activities by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Daily Duties:
- Premium Deposits Reconciliation
- Recording lockbox, remote deposit, online payment (electronic checks), and credit card batches in GP
- Maintaining vendor card in GP and collecting W-9’s
- Entry of AP Vouchers
- Mail/distribute AP checks
- Review and audit Expense Reports in Concur
- Submit Positive Pay check files via BOA Direct
- Accounting Inquiry (Researching check information and providing check images per request to other departments)
- Research and help answer vendor inquiries on invoice payment status
- Filing and scanning AP voucher packages
- Accounts payable account reconciliations
- Special projects upon request

Help prepare outstanding check lists

Premium deposit reconciliations

Help prepare of bank details during bank reconciliation process

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA degree required and some related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
