Retail Cashier

Location:    Orlando, Florida 

Responsibilities 

• The opening cashier should come in and turn on the registers.
• Stock register areas, insuring that they have tape, wrapping paper, bags and register tape, as well as any other necessary item.
• Price and stock film and cameras.  Place film order as needed.
• Stock sodas and water.
• Turn on lights and videos.
• At opening time, unlock the doors, turn on the air curtain and use the key to turn on all the automatic doors.
• Be available to greet and assist early guests shopping near the register area.
• During the day, check out guests quickly and efficiently, always with a smile.
• Check with Manager before leaving the register during shift and at closing
• Straighten and clean register area at closing.
• Reconcile cash drawer at end of shift.
• Complies with all property/departmental standards as they pertain to safety and security.
• Performs similar/related duties as directed.

Qualifications 

• Previous cashiering experience preferred.
