Chappel Group is a highly respected Central Florida organization which includes a Family Practice, a Nursing Homes Division and a Clinical Research division.
We are looking for Board Certified Physician Assistants who are dynamic, engaging, and all-around fun practitioners who enjoy what they do. We treat patients of all ages, genders and ethnicities in both the Practice and in nursing homes. Each of our practitioners is on call approximately once each month, but our call is currently limited to phone calls only. We work closely with a hospitalist group to see our patients in the hospital, so you can be on call from anywhere with cell phone access.
We do document via an EMR, so we do want you to be comfortable with computerized charting. We will need you to have an active Florida license, be NCCPA-Certified, hold an active PA license and have a clean malpractice history, as well as be eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid and our other major payers. Having at least two years of continuous experience rounding in nursing homes is definitely plus.
Our positions are exempt, full-time, Monday to Friday, with benefits, including competitive salaries, malpractice insurance and paid time off. So, if you are looking to join an energetic group of practitioners dedicated to offering a proactive approach to the health and wellness of their patients, please submit your cover letter and CV. We love what we do and we want you to feel the same.
Employment is contingent upon verification of information provided in application materials, including applicable licenses, completion of a successful background check and successful completion of your first three (3) months of employment, which is considered probation. Employees are subject to new employment and random drug testing, and continued employment following probation is on an at-will basis.
