Job Description:
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development of strategies and tactics designed to drive system traffic, revenue and growth. The strategic direction provided by this position will be consistent representation of two restaurant brands through leadership and guidance, as it relates to creative vision and services, local marketing efforts and collaboration for the development of communications programs. The position is also responsible for the development and implementation of advertising initiatives including radio, print, online social, OOH, in-store, etc. and developing internal, sustainable marketing capabilities through mentoring, training and development.   
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing and communication programs to promote each brand and further each brand’s sales objectives
  • Lead development and planning process of marketing calendar for both brands
  • Collaborates with agencies, creative services, local marketing and media to develop external communications, advertising campaigns and in-restaurant materials and communications
  • Supports and manages agenda setting, prioritizing and resources allocation, balancing short and long-term goals and priorities    
  • Partner with Accounting, Operations and R&D to identify implications of each marketing initiative and make recommendations for success
  • Reviews project results and recommendations with leadership, and present business solutions and marketing concepts to both brands’ managers and direct their implementation
  • Identifies and delivers improvements in areas such as in restaurant and external communications transitioning work to creative services, designs innovation, competitive analysis and response plans, etc.
  • Leads external agencies in the development of strategies that employ multiple tactics in order to leverage marketing spending and maximize value for brands’ goals   
  • Understands the vital role branding plays in capturing market share and attaining business objectives
  • Demonstrates analytical, creative, problem solving skills focused on driving results
  • Promotes a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovative and rational risk taking     
  • Organizational and people skills, the ability to effectively create and deliver presentations, the ability to set appropriate priorities and use time effectively
