Monitor Tech - Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health

 

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) Centralized Telemetry a part of Orlando Health is seeking a Monitor Tech to join the team.

Our 1,780-bed hospital system includes Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women, UF Cancer Center Orlando, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center; Teaching Hospital and Central Florida's only Level One Trauma Center.

The qualified applicants will meet the following requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent. Monitor Tech with previous experiences successfully passes EKG competency assessment- not required to take Orlando Health EKG course. Competency assessed annually. Monitor Tech with previous experience that does not successfully pass EKG competency assessment- must take Orlando Health EKG course and pass within 90 days. Competency assessed annually. Grade of 84% on rhythm test with all lethal rhythms interpreted correctly is required. BLS/Health Care provider certification required. Paramedic highly preferred with the following requirements successfully completed a Paramedic program. Current certification as a Paramedic (PMD) in the State of Florida renewed every 2 years and current BLS/Healthcare provider certification.
