This position works with the day-to-day operations of the fulfillment warehouse and kitting department to ensure efficient operations and a safe working environment. This includes the overall responsibility to schedule and monitor employee activities and equipment used to meet company objectives; lead a diverse workforce in a 24 hour/7 day a week high volume operation of over 5,000 shipments per week and motivate employees in a team-based environment.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

  • Supervise fulfillment warehouse employees activities to ensure all product is verified from manufacturing and put away in a timely basis and that orders are processed and shipped by scheduled deadlines
  • Oversee the fulfillment pick operation which includes over 4,000 SKU’s with up to 8,000 shipments a week
  •  Oversee the kitting and split case (pick/pack) operation, which consists of kitting multiple items in a carton to collating sets and picking of daily web orders
  • Communicate to employees daily activities, workload, and department goals
  • Manage the locating of product utilizing scanners and the WMS system.
  • Direct the inventory control functions of the warehouse, performing monthly/weekly cycle counts, running reports from the WMS system on location usage and inventory that needs to be put away
  • Monitor and communicate with employees to ensure compliance with established warehouse and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and ongoing performance discussions
  • Ensure team is adequately staffed, work with Human Resource to interview and select new employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications 

  • Five to seven years supervisory experience in a fulfillment distribution facility 
  • Specific experience with a pick/pack, split case fulfillment operation
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management System and RF scanners
  • Understanding and demonstration of inventory control concepts and techniques
  • Knowledge of warehouse racking systems /processes
  • MS office: Word and Excel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulatory procedures and standards
