Online Student Liaison

Summary: 
The Online Student Liaison assists in securing and retaining qualified applicants while operating as the lead point of contact for incoming and active students. Support includes proactive and responsive student engagement while acting as a customer service professional, mentor, and motivational figure throughout a student’s online educational journey. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Represent Full Sail University as a brand ambassador by embracing our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism and customer service 
• Accurately and completely explain educational programs, expected outcomes, student services and financial considerations to students, parents, and families 
• Foster student growth through coordination with proper organizational staff members to provide timely and accurate answers 
• Prioritize workflow/workload to maximize results and surpass individual, team, department, and organizational goals and expectations 
• Maintain compliance with State and Federal accreditation and institutional policies 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, evolving environment as required 
• Remain current on Admissions requirements 
• Provide night and weekend coverage as required

Education and/or Experience: 
• 1 year Admissions or Enrollment experience required, 2+ years preferred 
• At least 1 year of Administrative and Customer Service experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Computer/Equipment Skills: 
• Strong computer experience and proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook 

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands: 
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds. This position requires sitting for long periods of time at a workstation and computer. Mental stamina sufficient to work long hours and the ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time are required. Employee must be able to work a flexible schedule including a minimum of 40 hours per week, with 1-2 weeknight shifts (until 9 p.m.), and 1 weekend shift per month.
