Primary Responsibilities • Develop initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts. • Provide active community involvement to strengthen Brand awareness. • Demonstrate high ethical standards at all times, adhering to company and hotel standards. • Lead all employees to maintain high quality standards consistent with the Restaurant, Room Service and Hotel Standards. • Ensure that the restaurant is optimally staffed and that employees are fully trained in all aspects of their job. • Recover from guest complaints, with the goal of turning dissatisfied guests into return guests. • Ensure that all menu items are made according to recipe and that presentation is up to Restaurant Standards. • Manage P&L for the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets. • Enforce food safety and sanitary practices, maintenance and regulatory compliance for the entire restaurant and premises. • Develop, train and retain top talent in the department. • Ensure that all operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment and passion. • Ensure all restaurant administrative requirements are completed in a timely and competent manner. Job Requirements • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Venue Manger or General Manager level position managing a polished casual/fine dining restaurant • 4-year degree in a relevant industry (e.g. Hotel/Restaurant Management) • Prior experience working in a large, multi-unit corporate environment, preferred Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills • Exceptional people and development skills, and a proven track record in attracting, assessing, developing, coaching, and managing talent • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to associates across all levels of the organization • High degree of flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail • Must exhibit the highest level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information • Creative independent thinker, self-starter and problem solver • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
