Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
• Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
• Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Maintain professional, positive attitude and good work ethics. 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Process & pack meat products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by using various packing machineries
• Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)
• Make boxes according to specifications
• Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
• Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.

Physical Requirements

Standing & walking for long periods of time, lifting up to 75lbs, pushing/pulling up to 80lbs, continuous fine hand manipulation including grasping, reaching, holding, carrying, etc., must be able to bend, stretch, reach overhead and climb.  Must be able to work in varying temperatures per department between 32 F to 80F +
