The YMCA of Central Florida prides itself on providing water safety for children and adults in the community. Under the Association leadership and direction of our Vice President of Aquatics, and 3 Time Olympic Gold Medalist, Mr. Rowdy Gaines; we are in the need of skilled lifeguards and swim instructors to support us in this critical effort.

The Osceola YMCA Family Center  in Kissimmee is seeking a dependable Lifeguard to join the their aquatics team. This individual must have flexible availability to work part-time hours during peak times of business, including morning shifts. 

Duties include but are not limited to guarding, assisting members and pool maintenance. This individual must have excellent customer service skills, and strong swimming skills. S/he must know and review all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with the YMCA of Central Florida policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer certified
• AED certified
• First Aid Certified
• Lifeguard Certification (nationally recognized)
• Minimum age 16 years or older
