Position Summary:
This position provides overall direction for activities related to administration, human resources, and office management. The individual establishes, implements, and monitors office policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations and which enable the firm to meet its goals.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Reviews, evaluates, implements, and documents h/r policies and procedures
Provides employee relations counseling,
Supervises administrative staff
Administers benefit programs
Maintains employee personnel files
Recruiting and hiring
Reviews and approves invoices for payment
Receives, processes and deposits client fees
Processes and distributes bi-weekly payroll
Updates and maintains employee handbook
Develops and maintains spot bonus programs
Participates as a member of the leadership, education, and safety committees
Maintains salary administration program
Qualifications, Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and office management
Working knowledge and experience in using a variety of computer software applications such as MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Education/Training/Experience
Required:
A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related degree plus seven to ten years’ experience in human resources and/or office management
Industry experience desired
