Job Title: Regional Corporate Outreach Representative
Department: Corporate Outreach
Location: Orlando, FL
Summary
Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Corporate Outreach, the Regional Corporate Outreach Representative is responsible to increase the visibility of Columbia Southern University and the programs and opportunities offered within the Orlando metropolitan area. The individual will present thorough and precise information about Columbia Southern University in a courteous manner. Building and maintaining relationships within the determined territory that will result in prospects and students enrolled in the academic programs of the University will be required. This individual will routinely develop and visit partners with CSU to generate new enrollments and relationships. The regional representative will provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of the job duties listed below. The preferred candidate will reside in the Orlando metropolitan area and have thorough knowledge of the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, as well as possess the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
- Executes all travel arrangements necessary.
- Prudent use of CSU funds and reconciles credit card expense receipts and reports.
- Minimum 4+ years of sales and business development experience with a proven track record.
- Service existing accounts/relationships, develop new client relationships.
- Recruit new partner organizations and students.
- Maintain database of all sales and prospecting activities, documenting all information in CRM on a daily basis.
- Create and conduct effective sales presentations, possess superior presentation and influential skills.
- Participate in conferences and schedule meetings to generate leads for students.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and result reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
- Meet and exceed measures provided by management adding to team results
- Knowledge of the territory and surrounding area.
- Stay up to date with University and program knowledge and new developments
- Regular visits with management.
- Well organized with the ability to self-manage.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university. Ability to be bonded with strong verbal and written communication skills along with organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities are needed for success in this position. Knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Omega Database software, and all MS Office Suite applications are necessary to perform this job successfully.
Individual should possess a minimum of four (4) years in sales experience preferably in higher education, and/or in a similar field, while preferably working in a large metropolitan area.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; MS Office Suite software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Working knowledge of Military education benefits, Veterans education benefits and a clear understanding of rules and regulations for base access and appropriate areas for Military Outreach Representatives to visit on Military installations is desired.
