Minimum Starting Salary:
- Parts Specialist I-- $12.57 per hour (Grade S20)
- Parts Specialist II-- $13.45 per hour (Grade S19)
NATURE OF WORK:
Processes requisitions, assists customers at parts counter, places orders, receives and tracks inventory including parts and equipment for fleet/facility; confers with mechanics, technicians, and vendors regarding parts information and availability; performs inventory control and warehousing activities which involve manual labor and clerical duties; assembles hydraulic hoses; and performs other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE is normally Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., but is subject to change based on division needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
PARTS SPECIALIST I: High school graduate or equivalent and six months experience as an automobile or truck parts specialist or service consultant, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience. Florida driver license required.
PARTS SPECIALIST II: Same as Parts Specialist I, above, except requires two years experience as specified.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
