REVENUE ANALYST

SUMMARY:

    The Revenue Analyst analyzes data to understand future demand forecast, historical trends, competitive set activity, and translate this information to provide recommendations to the Revenue Manager on rate strategies to achieve budgeted goals for revenue, occupancy, and arrivals. Responsible for a group of managed properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors booking pace, inventory, occupancy, historical trends, and competitive set, for assigned group of managed resorts, making recommendations to the Revenue Manager on rate strategies as a result of this analysis.
• Loads and updates rates in Clarity, and on the OTAs through the channel manager or the various extranets.
• Maintains rate spreadsheets with current and accurate information.
• Closely monitor competitive pricing and analyze impact of pricing decisions on property performance.
• Maintain market intelligence for assigned group of managed resorts including: competitors, rates, special events affecting demand, seasonal strategies, etc.
• Ad hoc reporting to gather essential data to aid in analysis.
• Participate on weekly property review calls to advise of recent changes, review current rates, and offer ideas and suggestions on potential changes.
• Run rate shopping reports and distribute to key team members prior to weekly property reviews.
• Ensure rate parity is maintained across all distribution channels including Clarity and DiamondResortsandHotels.com.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Some college coursework

SKILLS:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• Advanced excel skills
• Previous hotel experience
• Previous revenue management experience
