Provide electrical controls and instrumentation installation, troubleshooting, and repair support to manufacturing organization in the plant utility, juice distribution, and juice packaging areas and functions. Work closely with other members of the maintenance and production team.

Primary Functions:

Perform repairs for any type of plant equipment.

Perform regular preventative maintenance activities & identify other repairs or needs.

Complete requests for service and ensure adequate parts are available for assigned work.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams & electrical schematics.

Identify, analyze, and solve problems in compliance with all statutory, customer, and parent company requirements.

Communicate & coordinate with vendors during equipment installation, maintenance, or repairs to assure compliance to all company requirements.                   

Train operators on control systems.

Timely and accurately complete documentation on repairs and preventative maintenance.

Participate in shift change meetings. Communicate and coordinate work with other Maintenance Team members.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent, Trade School or some college preferred.

Excellent safety and attendance record. 

Proven understanding and ability to repair industrial electrical systems as well as mechanical systems Ability to trouble shoot systems and equipment to determine root causes of problems. Good computer skills Basic understanding of PLC control circuits, I/O (digital & analog). Safety and Food Safety, HACCP. Knowledge and experience with PSM, RMP, HAZMAT preferred.

Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs) during the shift Stand, lift, twist, bend, climb platforms for 8+ hours per day Requires visual and auditory acuity, hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity and the ability to access all work areas.

Ability to work in different work environments ranging from cold to hot.
