Potential Annual Base Pay (Hourly Paid Positions Only):

Negotiable based on Experience

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Bid proposal preparation
• Evaluation of suppliers, subcontractors and their proposals
• Extensive research of full fabrication manufacturing materials and technology costs
• Managing budgets, estimates and timelines
• Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost effective to produce or purchase components
• Coordination and collaboration with project teams; Project Managers, Engineers and Fabricators Maintaining client relationships
• All other duties, projects and analyses as assigned by the Estimating Manager

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or 5+ years’ experience estimating and knowledge of manufacturing materials and methods.
• Ability to work with MRP/ERP Systems
• Demonstrate understanding of how custom fabricated items are engineered to be built including machine capabilities and capacities before preparing quotations
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Excellence in client communications and customer relations
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment
• Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and responsibilities
• Display and maintain enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Solidworks preferred but not required
