B2B Account Executive – Safety Training Sales
American Safety Council is seeking a proven, top performing B2B Inside Sales Professional / Account Executive that has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through disciplined execution of sales processes, establishing strong rapport and relationships with prospective customers, consultatively engaging customers to uncover their unmet need, and persuasively communicating your solution’s aligned capabilities and differentiation.
The B2B Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring new corporate accounts by selling American Safety Council’s 100% online safety training products, in a highly transactional sales process. This position will be selling workplace safety training products with unique differentiation, such as OSHA Authorized compliance training, fleet safety training, transportation safety, among other products and services.
The ideal candidate is a proven closer. You must be comfortable and experienced in engaging dozens of new sales calls per day with new prospects / leads, working closely with B2B Marketing and Sales Development Representatives to maximize pipeline quality, qualifying and advancing sales prospects through the funnel, and generating profitable growth for your company.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The B2B Account Executive will engage with leads identified and initially qualified by the Sales Development (Prospecting) Team. The Account Executive is responsible for understanding the needs of the lead, aligning American Safety Council’s value proposition to their needs, and advancing opportunities through the pipeline to closure. Specific responsibilities include:
- Initial discovery calls with leads generated via the marketing and sales development teams
- Establishing trust and credibility with new prospective customers
- Uncovering prospective customer unmet needs, current solutions, buying process, buying influences, and key requirements / priorities
- Effectively overcoming objections and advancing the sale by demonstrating in-depth product, market, and account knowledge
- Present American Safety Council product and service portfolio, and articulate and demonstrate key features and differentiators that persuade the customer to advance with ASC products
- Generate and leverage effective sales messaging and collateral in support of a highly transactional selling process
- Applying proven sales process effectively to advance prospective customers through the sales process from initial qualification through close
- Generation of proposals and price quotes
- Navigating opportunities through the customer’s buying process through diligent follow-up and coordination of next steps
- Documenting accurate status of leads, opportunities, and supporting activities in Salesforce.com CRM.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field.
- Demonstrated and repeated success as a top performer (Top 10%) as an inside or outside Sales Executive with B2B responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in inside or outside sales
- Demonstrated track record generating sales from prospect identification, qualification, through deal closure
- Excellent phone, email, and presentation skills
- Engaging personality that quickly establishes trust and rapport with new leads and accounts
- Highly motivated, high energy individual with a passion for growing in the field of sales
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience and discipline using Salesforce.com
- Experience selling Regulatory Compliance solutions industries such as Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.
