Accounts Payable Representative, A/P Rep, Clerk

Summary

This position is responsible for processing supplier invoices, preparing payments for suppliers and completing all tasks assigned within the Accounts Payable department in a timely manner as specified by management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Performing reservation administration/sold out agent duties including reservation queues.
• Process invoices received by suppliers within the timeframe set by Tourico. 
• Payments:  responsible for submitting payments ensuring that credit limits are not exceeded and payments are not duplicated nor exceed amount invoiced.
• Ensure checks are prioritized and mailed out accordingly, and filed appropriately.
• Answer all incoming phone calls from Accounts Payable Call Loop within a timely manner.
• Answer assigned generic email boxes assigned to you on a daily basis.   
• Research and process all rate discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations received.
• Special Projects.  This entails any project deemed necessary by supervisors/management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills Required.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Efficiently reach goals in a timely manner.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) or Trilingual (Portuguese) preferred
• Able to support and communicate the vision, mission and values of the company.

This position has a starting salary of $13 per hour and will also come with full health, dental and vision insurance. This position has become available due to an internal promotion.
