Requirements

The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, planning and organizational skills with an outgoing and professional manner.

• Experience in installing, maintaining and servicing of electro-mechanical equipment as a  journeyman/technician or equivalent experience. Pneumatic & electronic background preferred.

• Considerable knowledge of the practices, tools and equipment used to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment is required.

• Knowledge in preventive maintenance systems is required.

• Knowledge of facilities maintenance such as electrical, plumbing & carpentry is preferred

• Must be able to react quickly and appropriately under pressure in emergency situations and maintain professionalism at all times.

• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends that may include holidays to support center operations.

• Attractions/Amusement parks/Retail experience is definitive asset

• Computer skills a must, advanced skills in MS Word and Excel

• Great organization skills and detail oriented a must

• Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Ability to work with all levels of staff and guests

• Point out problems and is capable of dealing with problems and solving them

• Has a positive, enthusiastic and “can do” attitude.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

•             Responsible for maintaining and developing the site to the highest of standards.

•             To do any other reasonable duty as detailed by the Attraction management team.

•             To follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the departments operating plan.

•             To maintain a pleasant and approachable manner towards our visitors at all times.

•             To ensure all equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored in one place.

•             To complete daily Health and Safety, Fire checks and file documentation as required.

•             To complete daily maintenance checks to include: light bulb check, painting, general repairs etc.

•             To assist with the maintenance of all site systems.

•             To be proactive with the general cleanliness and tidiness of all “behind the scenes” areas in addition to public areas.

•             To assist and give your input with the annual maintenance plan.

•             Assist with the installation and maintenance of new equipment involved in a new development or project at the site.

•             To follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the departments operating plan.
