Small Business Underwriter - Fort Pierce

Harbor Community Bank, one of the fastest growing banks in Florida, is looking for an experienced Small Business Underwriter. The primary job functions of the small business underwriter is to underwrite credit requests sourced through the small business lending channel, spread and analyze customer financial information and make recommendations regarding the adjudication of small business credit requests or, render final credit decision if within approval and exception authority. The analysis and credit recommendation/decision must be fashioned within the Bank’s current tolerance for risk. The small business underwriter is charged with being the “voice” of the Bank’s lending policy and is expected to work closely with the field personnel throughout the credit process. The underwriter is responsible for compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations that apply to their portion of the credit process.
