 What You Need to Know About this CDL Driver Position

CDL-A license is required for this position. 

2 years Forklift experience is required.

Candidates without these qualification will not be considered.
 

·         Approximately 80 percent of your time will be spent moving material from one side of our facility to the other, gutters and building products.

·         You drive both 48-foot flatbed and forklift.

·         You must have forklift experience to qualify for this position.

·         You act as the last set of eyes on the material before it moves to be painted, packed and shipped to the customer. Attention to detail is key, delivering good metal with no imperfections and ensure it arrives to the other side in the same condition.

·         When you are not driving, you work alongside other Benada warehouse associates pulling orders from the ovens and maintaining the warehouse. 

 More About Your Duties

·         Your delivery duties are based on the production of our Press department; at other times, you will be working in the warehouse loading and unloading ovens, moving empty racks and helping to maintain the warehouse.

·         You use a forklift as necessary to perform delivery and warehouse functions

·         You are responsible to follow all safety regulations.

Job Requirements

·         CDL Class A license is required (must be valid)

·         CDL driver must have a clean driving record

·         Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team

·         Ability and willingness to lift boxes and specific building materials weighing as much as 70 pounds

·         Willingness to perform warehouse duties when not delivering products to our customers

·         Experience in building products is very helpful 

·         Strong customer service skills

·         Strong, positive attitude

·         At least one year experience as a CDL Driver 

·         2 years Forklift experience
