Mental Health Therapists - (Bilingual English/Spanish)

At Behavioral Support Services we provide reliable and quality applied behavior analysis, mental health counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, targeted case management and services for children and adults with challenging behaviors or disabilities to enhance their well-being and improve daily functioning in the home, school, workplace or community environments.

We are currently looking for outstanding Mental Health Therapists.

Your specific job duties as a Mental Health Therapist will include:

• Conducting and documenting daily group therapy sessions
• Completing Psychosocial Assessments
• Facilitating family therapy and individual therapy as ordered
• Implementing and reviewing treatment and discharge plans
• Master’s level licensure as a social worker or counselor is required
• Strong therapy and assessment skills
• Must have expertise and be willing to work with children and adolescents
• Experience in performing brief short term therapy (e.g. cognitive behavioral therapy or solution focused therapy
• Possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto liability insurance and a good driving record, plus own transportation to complete the travel requirements of the job.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Seeking individuals specifically servicing the following communities:  Apopka, Oviedo, St. Cloud, Poinciana and Kissimmee
• Trained & Certified CFARS + FARS
• Must be registered with the State of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or licensed
• All applicants must pass a Level 2 DCF Background Screening, Local Law Check and Drug Screening

Education and Experience:

• A  Mental Health Therapist must be registered with the State of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or licensed

• Mental Health Therapists need to be certified in CFARs and FARs

• Masters degree from an accredited university

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word.
