Harbor Community Bank one of the fastest growing banks in Florida is seeking a Residential Loan Administrator to join their team!

This position is responsible for providing support to the Residential Sales Director and to the Residential Loan Officers wherever service or assistance is needed. The position requires the individual to be skilled in word processing, excel software and to have a good understanding of documentation requirements for real estate lending. The position requires the individual to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of residential lending products and guidelines.

Essential Duties:

 

  • Provides administrative support to the Residential Sales Director where service or assistance is required.
  • Provides support to the Residential Loan Officers with regards to overseeing the residential loan pipeline.
  • Ability to be forward thinking in regards to minor issues and solving the concern.
  • Recognize when issues are significant enough to inform the Sales Director.
  • Assist Director with initial gathering of information supporting new loan products and reviewing investor guidelines.
  • Maintain a working relationship with local realtors, builder and any other referral sources.
  • Assists the Residential Loan Officer(s) with coordinating loan closing to ensuring all loan conditions have been met.
  • Provides assistance to Residential Lenders in conjunction with obtaining approvals from the Residential Sales
  • Director for rate/fee exceptions and for resolving other matters requiring the Director approval.
  • Assist with creating and scheduling marketing events.

 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from 2-year College or technical school; or 2 years related experience and or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should be in the banking field. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Intermediate level of work experience, knowledge and training in all loan servicing activities and terminology.
  • Intermediate knowledge of title policies and related loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA and other Bank lending policies on loans to directors.
