Service Technician

Are you a STAR?  We're looking for a STAR to join our team!  We currently are adding to our service team and are in need of a Service Technician to provide window and door service work on new construction and existing homes.  We represent top manufacturers including Andersen, Simonton, Eagle, PGT, etc. Must have some experience in installation, window repair and replacement or other home repair/carpentry skills.  This pivotal position requires time management, clear report writing skills, and preferably knowledge of the window and door industry. You must also be a mature individual who maintains a warm, friendly, helpful and professional demeanor.   

Responsibilities: 

• Utilizing the tools provided to get the correct information from the field to the office; this includes identifying and requesting the right part numbers and providing a detailed description of the problem. 
• Service or repair windows and doors at customer site.
• Completing service work in a timely manner. 
• Maintaining a clean, neat and organized service vehicle.  
• Maintain inventory of stock service items on vehicles. 
• Perform related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Education, experience, knowledge, and skills required for this position include: 
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in the construction industry needed.
• Clean driving record is required. 
• High school diploma required. 
• Professional appearance required.
• The ability to lift 75 lbs and work from heights on ladder or scaffolding is required.
• Related field experience is required. 
• Some finish carpentry skills preferred. 
• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.  Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics.
