The Ideal Candidate for this Position:

The ideal candidate will have superior customer service skills, ability to interact with guests as well as fellow employees and be a team player.  Friendly, energetic and positive attitude is required.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintaining a consistently smooth running operation. Monitor and critique food quality and service levels. Assist with hiring, and training of all staff. Scheduling of staff according to occupancy levels. Monitoring and daily tracking of payroll and revenue. Assist with coaching and counseling staff. Ensure physical atmosphere and cleanliness of F&B Outlets, including inspecting tabletops, side-stations and tray stands. Assist with monitoring of all current inventories (liquor, beer, wine, food, etc.) and the ordering of new product. Communicating with the manager on upcoming events, and promotions. Assist in end of the month inventories. Attending department head, conference review, food and beverage and pre-con meetings as required. Responsible for timely performance evaluations of staff. Maintaining profitability of F&B Outlets, In Room Dining and Hospitality Carts through forecasting and staffing. Providing a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Director of Outlets. Assist in the F&B Outlets, In Room Dining and Hospitality Carts in whatever capacity needed. Help out in other areas when needed.

ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor, carpeted, climate controlled environment as well as outdoor, non climate controlled areas for Hospitality Carts and Pool Bar. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas.  And/or well lit, climate controlled kitchen area.  Moderate to frequent exposure to loud noise levels.  Some odors from food preparation and/or cleaning products.
