Small Business Underwriter

The Small Business Underwriter is primarily responsible for the following functions

Underwriting credit requests sourced through the small business lending channel;

Spreading and analyzing customer financial information and making objective recommendations regarding small business credit requests.

Minimum Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate will a Minimum of 4 years Commercial Lending and/or Commercial Credit Analysis experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of reviewing and analyzing Commercial Credit requests for merit. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.

Knowledge with work experience, knowledge and training in Loan servicing activities and terminology.

Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies.
