An international manufacturer of cooling, heating and dehumidification equipment, controls and associated accessories for commercial, institutional and industrial applications located in Northwest Orlando is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator. MUST HAVE sheet metal experience.
POSITION: Press Brake Operator
SALARY: $12/hr
SHIFT: M-F 7AM-3:30PM
TERM: Full Time to Hire
Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Standard Background check will be performed.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under direction of the sheet metal supervisor, the press operator will set up various brake presses and bend sheet metal components to drawing specified dimensions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews work order to determine correct dimensions and bend angles. Changes dyes as required per part. Assures that machine is operating properly and safely with all machine guards in place. Performs weekly maintenance on press machines
EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Minimum one year similar experience Experience programming back gauges
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and interpret drawings. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, and tape measure. Math skills, especially fractions. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to adhere to all safety standards
