To ensure the quality of loan files that have closed and report errors to management.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Perform quality control reviews on all consumer lending files, follow up with loan department and branch staff on missing documents or signatures.
Performs other related duties as assigned: returned mail, posting transactions, title securing transaction, CPI claims, prepare and review reports, etc.
Answers member phone calls.
Performance Measurements:
1. To complete Quality Control Review on 100% of loans on the new loan report within 5 days of showing up on the report.
2. To maintain a working knowledge of the credit union's loan standards and governmental regulations.
3. To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and team members.
4. To ensure compliance with Credit Union's Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer/Member Identification Programs.
5. Working knowledge of interest rates and loan programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: Six months to two years or more of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Other Skills: Must have good communication skills. 10-key calculator, typewriter, and keyboard skills.

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday, varied start and stop times between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
